Ah, the weekend. A few days to catch your breath, relax, and possibly see how many hours in a row you can wear your sweatpants before getting some dirty looks.

For me, this has a been a weekend of reflection. Reflection and prayers on life and what it means to be responsible. To be an adult. About thinking beyond the ‘now’ and having some vision for how actions (both good and bad) will affect loved ones.
I know these are some pretty deep thoughts for a Sunday, or perhaps, they’re right on the money. Not sure. Either way, a lot of things have been going on in my life lately. So much of it wonderful. So much of it consumingly difficult.

I’m blessed with the best husband a girl could ask for, not to mention the sweetest, smartest, funniest kiddos around. Not that I’m biased or anything. Of course not.

Some of life’s drama as of late has just gone to reaffirm how much I love my family, and how I want nothing but to be the very best version of me that I can be.

Tomorrow’s post will be about some changes that I’m making, all for the good of me, my family, not to mention this nifty little thing I call my blog.

I can’t wait to share.

Tomorrow, I will be back. I will be back with news and food and the beginning of what will hopefully be a rockin’ chapter in this crazy book we called life.

And a joke or two.

For today, lets just eat salad. Not just any salad. This light and refreshing Asian Edamame Salad.  It’s simple, satisfying, healthy and so easy to pull together, you won’t have an excuse not to. You can find my Edamame Salad Recipe over on Food Fanatic.

Until tomorrow, my friends, I send you hugs and hopes for a bright tomorrow.

Oh, and this salad. Can’t forget about that.

Head on over to Food Fanatic for my light and Springy Edamame Salad Recipe.
