frozen banana ice cream
Frozen banana ice cream is a quick and simple way to create ice cream at home with no ice cream machine required!
As a girl who has never owned an ice cream machine before, let me tell you that there are many ways to make frozen treats with out one. Take for instance this frozen banana ice cream. It’s only one ingredient: bananas.
That is, of course, if you decide not to load it up with leftover Easter candy. And by ‘leftover’ I mean Easter candy that you bought at Target a week after Easter was over because you couldn’t resist another little bag of white chocolate Easter eggs.
But hey. That’s just my definition of leftover. Yours could be completely different.
I think it’s safe to say that our definitions of simple are pretty similar. Cut up a banana. Pop it in the freezer. Watch a few reruns of Love it or List it. Suddenly remember that you put the bananas in the freezer. Pop them into the food processor and pulse it for a minute or two.
Stir in candy as desired – done.
Now, I’m sharing the actual specifics of this super easy peasy, loaded Easter candy Frozen Banana Ice Cream over on My Baking Addiction today, so be sure to head over and check it out.
And remember: no ice cream machine = no problem!
Happy Thursday!
Banana ice cream is cool all on its own, but banana ice cream crammed full of leftover Easter candy? Brilliant.

I’m loving all of the banana soft serve and banana ice creams floating around the blogosphere at the moment. It is SUCH a clever and healthy option for a frozen treat! I love the chunky quality of your one Emily. It looks much more indulgent and gorgeous in ‘scoop form’! Hope that you’re enjoying the spring weather! xx
Thank you so much, Laura!
